What forms are required to be married?
Notice of Intended Marriage form [or NOIM]
Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage
Marriage Certificate for the Couple’s records – the pretty one
Official Certificate of Marriage – the big red book
What is the Notice of Intended Marriage form (NOIM)?
The Notice of Intended Marriage form must be witnessed and signed by myself, your Celebrant, no later than one month before the date of your wedding. The form can either be completed electronically or by hand with black ink in BLOCK caps, no latter then one month before your wedding date.
If you were born in Australia, I am required to sight your original birth certificates and, if applicable, divorce or death papers if you have been previously married. If you are not an Australian citizen you will need to bring your passport to our initial meeting for me to sight.
What are the other forms we need to complete?
Declarations: You will both need to complete and sign declarations prior to your wedding ceremony to confirm that there is no legal impediment to you marrying each other. This is a document that I provide.
Marriage Certificates: There are three certificates you sign on the day: one for you to keep, one for my records, and one for me to submit. We can complete these prior to your wedding being performed so on the day we just need to sign them. I submit all the required documents to Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Securing Tash as my celebrant?
The date and time of your ceremony is secured once either full payment or a $300 non-refundable deposit is received, and NOIM is signed.
Please see the link to the Government's process on requesting the paperwork needed to change your name after you are married.
"Thank you so much for being our celebrant last month. It was a simple and intimate service and you made the day feel so complete. You were so professional in the lead up to the day going over and above to ensure the day was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for more. We feel so lucky to have found you and have you share the day with us.
If anyone is in need of a celebrant, Tash is the only person I would recommend. She is so fun and has a beautiful warmth and positive energy that adds to the ceremony. Thank you for everything, you really helped make our day one to remember!"
"We were introduced to Tash after learning we had a surprise baby on the way well ahead of our planned wedding date, which lead to us changing up our plans and opting for a small, out of town wedding with less than 6 weeks notice! Tash was unflappable: she made the two of us feel completely at ease in planning the ceremony in spite of our short lead time, and the numerous video calls made up for not being able to meet in person until right before the wedding.
Having Tash as our celebrant went along way to giving us the relaxed, convivial family wedding we were hoping for. We're so lucky to have been introduced to her and even luckier that she was available as I'm told she books out incredibly quickly!
She went along way to giving us the relaxed, convivial family wedding we were hoping for. We're so lucky to have been introduced to her and even luckier that she was available as I'm told she books out incredibly quickly! Tash genuinely loves what she does and it shows: in the care she takes in the lead up to your wedding, and on your day. I'd recommend her to anyone on the hunt for a celebrant in the Byron/Gold Coast area in a heartbeat."

"I could not recommend Tash highly enough. She is delightfully warm, easy to be around, and exudes a wonderfully calm and positive vibe. Tash was the perfect celebrant for our special day. We felt comfortable with Tash right from our very first coffee, and I feel sure we could look her up for a drink when we are next in town! Always professional, always bright and bubbly, and an amazingly vivacious and engaging speaker. Tash has really gone above and beyond throughout the whole experience, from checking out decorations for us while she was on holiday in Bali, to offering night-before-the-big-day beers, to helping sort out a myriad of paperwork issues post-wedding. Thank you for everything you have done for us Tash. A truly rock star marriage celebrant. We love your work!!!"

Tash was one of the highlights of our special day, making it even more amazing than we had imagined. From the planning meetings with a cheeky wine or two, to the finer details that made our ceremony unique, Tash was super organised and also knew just the right balance to make our ceremony perfect. Tash has such a warm, positive and fun-filled vibe and helped us create memories that we will never forget. Our guests were raving about her awesomeness. Thanks Tash, we are so glad we found you!

"Tash is an amazing celebrant. We got married on 16 September and the ceremony was perfect. She even included our dog Bailey in the ceremony. Tash made the process so easy for us and nothing was a hassle. We are so glad we chose Tash to be our celebrant and would highly recommend her :)."
"Not only did Tash calm my nerves before the wedding by talking me through the whole process, she is a genuinely wonderful person who I was honoured to have marry me to my best friend. Her bubbly personality and gentle speaking voice made her the perfect fit for what turned out to be a perfect wedding. I honestly couldn't recommend her more. Xx"
"Tash is an incredible celebrant and a beautiful beautiful woman, and we completely adore her. She made our special day perfect, and was completely on top of things the entire time. You won't find anyone out there like her, and you would be crazy not to hire Tash for your wedding. So warm and friendly that I'd recommend you book in just for the chance to meet her. Seriously, she's that good."
Tash is a superstar celebrant! She is creative in her approach to ceremonies and was the most beautiful person to work with. Not only was Tash warm, bubbly, relaxed, yet super organised and professional, she was also my go-to person for all supplier questions and always delivered, making the whole wedding process so much easier. I absolutely cannot recommend Tash highly enough!

Could not have been happier when we found Tash, she is such a kind and beautiful person who helped guide us on our special journey into marriage.
Tash is easy to get along with and has such a calming and humble presence. She was respectful with our requests and took them on with great ease. On the day when things didn't go quite to plan, she managed to keep my husband calm and was able to adapt with the change of weather/location.
Thank you Tash, we wouldn't have changed a thing!!!! Xxx

Tash was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly supportive throughout our whole wedding process and was super helpful with suggestions and ideas as planning a wedding can be very overwhelming. Tash created the most amazing ceremony for us, it was personal, relaxed but still very professional. I highly recommend Tash to anyone. I wish she was a wedding planner also because she is so wonderful and efficient! 11/10!
Thank you Tash!
